YENYR is always working towards providing environmental groups the tools, inspiration, and connections to create greater environmental impact. Seeds to Trees is a program that connects all the school environmental clubs in York Region so that together we can advance our community’s potential to make a difference.
We know that students do a lot to help the environment, and we want to acknowledge these efforts. Seeds to Trees offers youth the opportunity to share the things that they have done and also their visions of a greener community with other youth, clubs, and schools. This is done through events throughout the year, as well as through updates on our website. At the end of each school year, we will host an exposition involving all the schools, partners, organizations and companies at an event called the EcoYouth Forum. Each group will be invited to network and feature their work and services with the hopes to create partnerships between different groups for future initiatives.
By connecting people with similar passions, can spark collaboration for greater initiatives and larger impact. YENYR will help in any way we can to connect clubs to potential partners, resources, funding, and other opportunities to inspire them to push for amazing projects in their communities!
