Hi there! My name is Winnie, and I'm a grade 12 student at Markville Secondary School. I am so excited to be a Co-Chair of YENYR and work with such an amazing team! I have been passionate about the environment for as long as I can remember, so I would love to share that passion with you! Come to our events to network, learn about sustainability, or just to have fun! In fact, we have a huge event planned, so stay tuned!
If I'm not doing homework or frantically typing out emails, I'm probably reading, crocheting, or baking desserts! If you have any questions, feel free to message me or send me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org). I would love to chat! If you want to send me a recipe or cat pictures, that's cool too!
Hey, I’m Meisa- a Grade 12 Student at Markham District High School, and also one of the Co-Chairs on YENYR this year!
When I'm not crunching for school (also known as attempting to decipher the chemistry notes I wrote when half-asleep), I'm usually spending too much money on bubble tea, searching the GTA for all the best cheap eats or catching up on my favourite Netflix shows. If you ever want to chat, you can email me at email@example.com; I would love to meet you!
Hey there! I’m Alena Parkinson, one of YENYR’s Logistics Coordinators! A little about me that’s important to know would be a few of my personal interests: I love science, nature photography, scuba diving, and I’m extremely passionate about environmental issues (obviously!). Currently, I’m a grade eleven student at Markville Secondary School, and am engaged in many clubs in my school like EcoClub and DECA. I look forward to getting to meet you at a YENYR event in the near future! See you soon!
Hi, I'm Frank and I'm a Grade 12 student at Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute! I'm a lover of nature and hater of the TTC. You can typically find me outside, hiking while listening to Eminem or geocaching with my friends. If you ever want to talk about biological innovations, the Toronto Raptors, or our upcoming event EcoHacks, DM me or send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. 🙂
Hey guys! My name is Emily and I’m a Grade 10 student at Richmond Hill High School and am part of many clubs at my school, such as DECA and the Debate team. I’m extremely excited and eager to work with such an amazing team and be your Vice President. When I’m not living under a pile of homework, I can usually be found walking in nature, hanging out with my friends, and drinking bubble tea. I’m extremely enthusiastic about environmental issues (clearly…)! I look forward and intend to see you at a future YENYR event (EcoHacks!!!)! I hope to see you soon!
Hello everyone! I'm Eric and I'm currently a grade 12 student attending Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School. Besides being interested in Computer Science, I also find myself being fascinated by STEM. This year marks my first year on YENYR as a Web Developer and I look forward to my contributions towards this eco-friendly organization. In my spare time, if I am not occupied by my studies, I play the piano and I like getting active.
This year, we have a lot of exciting things planned for you guys including a continuation of last year's hackathon - EcoHacks! So make sure to stay tuned. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email them to email@example.com.
Hi!!! My name is Haohan, and I'm a Grade 12 student at AY Jackson Secondary School. I am super excited to be one of the Logistics Coordinator this year, and be part of an amazing team! I'm deeply passionate about environment issues, and helping to come up with ways to solve them. As well, while I'm not studying (i.e cramming) for an upcoming quiz and being a professional procrastinator, I can be found reading or being outside.
This year, our team has "tree-mendous" events coming up, and I hope you can join!
Hi there! My name is Ryan Chang and I’m one of the marketing coordinators for YENYR this year! To shed a little light about myself: I’m a grade 10 student at Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute who carries many passions - of course helping the environment being one of them. When I’m not stressing out about school, you can find me chilling with a dynamite role and some old TV show on Netflix. One of my favourite things in the world is meeting new people and hopefully you’ll be one of them at our upcoming events this year!
Hello! My name is Shirley Wu, and I’m in grade 12 at Markville Secondary School. As one of the Marketing Coordinators for YENYR this year, I am super excited to work with such driven and inspiring people to promote environmental awareness–and have fun while doing it! Aside from binge watching fat cat videos and perusing design magazines, I am always up for an opportunity to learn and network. If that sounds amazing, make sure to stay connected via our different social media platforms to hear about YENYR’s upcoming events! If you have any questions (or cat pictures), do not hesitate to send me an email or a message: firstname.lastname@example.org!
